From Sweden comes the world’s most expensive Rifle , the VO Falcon Edition, which costs $ 820 000. Made with pure Damascus steel inlaid rifle is the latest exclusive creation of VO Vapen house, founded in 1977 by master gunsmith Viggo Olsson. The VO Falcon Edition is a homage to the tradition of falconry, the art of hunting with falcons, many felt in the Arab world. The gun is in fact carved with beautiful engravings of peregrine falcons who, along with other luxury amenities, have increased the cost, making it the most expensive rifle in the world.
The Swedish company is specialized in the production of rifles for hunting craft that collect a huge success in the Arab market, counting among its clients including Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of Abu Dhabi.
The Gulf States represent an important slice of the market for luxury goods, despite the delicate political period. For this reason, the VO has dedicated his latest creation to the traditions of those countries.
The octagonal barrel of Edition Falcon is made of pure steel of Damascus, among the best in the world, finely carved and decorated, while the full stock is walnut. Each gun mount system patented by the Swedish “Take Down” which allows the use of different calibers.
Like any exclusive object the new rifle is available in a few pieces. At present it has only been a full, while the other four already scheduled for production, will be made only on order.
