World’s Most Expensive Headphones – The refurbished model of these headphones on the market for almost 20 years, was introduced earlier this year at the fair in Seoul dedicated to audio technology. We are speaking of Orpheus, the world’s most expensive headphones made by Sennheiser, a German brand that guarantees quality.
But because we see the beauty of these headphones cost 30,000 euros, the production is limited to 300 pieces worldwide, each headphone is hand assembled and contacts are made of gold, not for mere gratification in terms of aesthetics, but to exploit its metallic properties that make it one of the best conductors of audio signals with a consequent loss of signal minimized. But the main reason for such a high price is the amplifier that goes directly to the headphones and that Orpheus actually embedded in it.
Given the cost of the entire device, the amplifier replaces the traditional on-off switch with a key that acts as a switch: if you lose you have to ask for another one directly to Sennheiser.
